Thunder glass barometer Esschert
Description
The operation of this weather predicting thunder glass or weather glass has been known since the early 17th century. At high air pressure (good weather), the liquid level in the spout of the thunder glass is pushed down and at low air pressure (bad weather), the level in the spout of the thunder glass rises. As thunderstorms approach, the liquid will be able to rise to the point where it drips from the spout of the thunder glass. Fill the thunder glass (only a third) with either boiled, or demineralized water and color it with included (blue) ink powder.
This thunder glass comes in a printed gift box and with a syringe for easy filling. Also included is blue ink powder.
