Beautiful piece of craftsmanship, this impressive standing pelican on a mooring post, handcrafted from solid Suar wood.
It is very handsome how the shape is rendered. Very many hours of work went into this model, to create this sculpture from a block of hard suar wood.

Suar wood has the property of having contrasting colors in it. Light-colored wood can be right next to dark-colored wood. It is normal for these color differences to be visible in this piece as well. This unfortunately cannot be claimed.
