Treat yourself or someone else to a handmade sculpture made of the stone type soapstone or serpentine. These figurines are handmade with the greatest care, from 1 piece of stone. Each and every one beautiful art pieces made from Africa, mainly Zimbabwe.

Serpentine or soapstone from which these sculptures are made are soft stone types found in various colors primarily in central Africa. Beautifully shiny, in various colors, but mostly dark gray.

These chunks of stone are worked over many hours with various tools, then sanded and polished until they are the right size, shape and shine.
