This thick and sturdy hand-turned terracotta pot has a familiar classic look. The Mediterranean region defines the look of this round pot. This terracotta garden vase was made in the Italian region of Tuscany which is known for its unique green/brown clay color and its very high quality. This clay discolors after it has been in the oven. This along with the fact that this series of pots are fired at the very high temperature of 1150gr C, makes these pots suitable to stand outside for many years. The Doppio bordo festonato line is characterized by its wide top rim and rich decoration on the surface of the pot.

Clean with water, lemon and brush:

At the end of the season, if you find green stains on the terracotta pots and a dull color, fill a bucket with cold water, add the juice of a lemon and gently wash the stained part with this solution.

You will need to rub the surfaces vigorously using a brush with hard bristles.
