The Spanish Armada is the armed fleet with which Spanish King Philip II attempted to invade England during the Spanish-English War in the spring and summer of 1588. The fleet was to accompany an invasion force through The Channel to be ferried on barges from Flanders to England. Eventually, the Armada was raided and dispersed by the English fleet. This handcrafted painting aluminum Armada is a beautiful tribute to this Spanish superpower. Created by hand sanding and polishing on an aluminum plate.
