The wood is rough sawn and carefully kiln-dried to no more than 20% moisture, providing an authentic and sturdy look.<\/p>\n
Because oak is a beautiful living and natural material, there may be cracks, knots or other imperfections in the column or develop over time, as can be clearly seen in the sample photo. This is by no means a defect, but rather a unique and characterful feature of this solid material.
