Treat yourself or someone else to a handmade statue made of soapstone or serpentine stone. These statues are made manually with the greatest care, from 1 piece of stone. All beautiful pieces of art made from Arika, mainly Zimbabwe.

Serpetine or soapstone from which these statues are made are soft types of stone that occur in different colors, mainly in central Africa. Nicely shiny, in various colors, but usually dark gray.

These chunks of stone are worked for many hours with various tools, then sanded and polished until they have the right size, shape and shine.

This model statue with the image of an African Bird may differ from the photo in terms of color and shape, as it is handmade and also a natural material.
